Molecular Frontiers at 2008 Gothenburg Science Festival

Apr 29 2008 Latest News

The Gothenburg Science Festival is arranged annually for the public with events in the center of the city as well as in university labs. Like last year, Molecular Frontiers hosted an activity called "The Chemistry of Love" at Chalmers University of Technology. The teenagers who participated had the opportunity to create their own perfume, learn about pheromones and test their ability to identify different scents. A demo version of the quest-based virtual world that will be included in the next big update of MoleClues ("MoleClues 2.0") was tested and evaluated by the visitors. Some very valuable comments were received that will aid us in further development of this coming feature on the Web site!
