The 2011 Molecular Frontiers Symposium

Mar 25 2011 Latest NewsThe program for the 2011 Molecular Frontiers Symposium can be downloaded here. The symposium, entitled "Origin of Life and Molecular Evolution" takes place May 23-25 at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, Sweden. Among the speakers, we have SAB members Craig Venter, Jack Szostak and Susan Lindquist, as well as Gerald Joyce and Joan Steitz. You can watch the talks LIVE on the homepage of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Young people can submit questions for the Forum LIVE event on Tuesday via MoleClues LIVE.

The next Molecular Frontiers Symposium, "Emerging Technologies in Bio-Medicine", will take place in Singapore, and feature presentations by Craig Venter, Barry Sharpless, Ram Sasisekharan and other distinguished scientists.

The upcoming symposium in Stockholm 2012 is taking shape. The title will be "How chemical cycles shape our planet: the global challenge" and as usual we will have some fantastic speakers present. A preliminary program is available now.
