Winners of the 2010 Molecular Frontiers Inquiry Prize announced!

Jun 22 2010 Latest NewsThe winners, five girls and five boys, were announced at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Stockholm, home of the science Nobel prizes.
Just like previous years, the winning entries sounded simple at first glance yet quickly made for furrowed brows and much debate among the elite scientist jury. Details of the winners and finalists were broadcasted live on  MoleCluesLive.org and recorded video of the youth forum Q&A panel and lectures will soon appear on MoleClues.org. Among the winning quesitons were "Why isn’t life based only on RNA?", "Why do living organisms get old?" and "How
are thoughts produced and what are they made of?

Molecular Frontiers Symposium – Stockholm May 29-30, 2012  Dec 12 2011

The upcoming symposium in Stockholm 2012 is taking shape. The title will be "How chemical cycles shape our planet: the global challenge" and as usual we will have some fantastic speakers present. A preliminary program is available now.

The Chemistry Calendar awarded as the best IYC 2011 activity in Sweden  Dec 01 2011

"The Chemistry Calendar", a video project initiated by Molecular Frontiers in Sweden, has been awarded the best International Year of Chemistry activity in Sweden. The twelve videos, covering topics such as fashion, love, food and climate, are available on YouTube and on MoleClues. Find out more about this success story!
