Gerhard Ertl Joins Scientific Advisory Board

Gerhard Ertl, who received the 2007 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, is professor emeritus at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft in Berlin, Germany. Ertl has made major contributions to our understanding of chemical reactions on catalytic surfaces. His work has had important implications for the development of fuel cells, artificial fertilizers and technology for cleaner exhaust. Find more information about professor Gerhart Ertl here.

Youth Win Prizes and Participate in Scientific Symposium  Jun 04 2008

The 2008 Molecular Frontiers symposium, "Energy and Nano: Emerging Molecular Science and Technology," featured not only first-rate lectures on this theme, but also a day dedicated to youth. Members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) responded to questions from the young participants.

Molecular Frontiers at 2008 Gothenburg Science Festival  Apr 28 2008

Molecular Frontiers again hosted an activity called "The Chemistry of Love" at the Science Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden. Some two hundred teenagers aged 13 to 15 visited the event.
