On August 31, Bengt Nordén presented Molecular Frontiers to a large number of scientists at the 1st European Chemistry Conference in Budapest, Hungary. The conference was organised by the European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS).Back Molecular Frontiers is a global effort to promote the understanding and appreciation of molecular science in society. The 2008 Molecular Frontiers symposium, "Energy and Nano: Emerging Molecular Science and Technology," featured not only first-rate lectures on this theme, but also a day dedicated to youth. Members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) responded to questions from the young participants.
Molecular Frontiers again hosted an activity called "The Chemistry of Love" at the Science Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden. Some two hundred teenagers aged 13 to 15 visited the event.
